Wanted: Petzl Zoom

Postby buddyh » Jul 6, 2012 9:14 pm

Looking for a few good Petzl Zoom head lamps. Mine are wearing out and need to replace them or have parts for repair.
Thanks.

What, don't you like the old zooms? They work well for me and my crews. If you have some to get rid of I'll take them.

I must agree that you should consider an upgrade. However, I may actually have some zooms or zoom zoras new in the box. I'll check.

I have a three LED mod that I make for the Zoom. Lasts longer and provides a lot more light than the original bulbs. No wires, direct replacement and only requires a little larger hole in the reflector. Only costs a few dollars in parts and the time to build them. At Mayacon folks were asking what the bright light was. Not sure the lumens but I use the brightest LEDs I can find. Working on other LED mods now.
