Evan Gehring missing?

Anyone know the where Evan Gehring (Evan G here on Cavechat) is? He seems to be missing. His friends have turned to Facebook to try and locate him. There was talk that he may have been hit by a drunk driver, too.

He's in the 2006 Members Manual with a PO box.

He had mentioned not renewing his membership in the past. Don't know if he did it or not.

His G-Chat username popped up last week, I'm thinking Thursday? I wrote a quick hello, then he disappeared. Showed back up for a period of time later that day too. Haven't heard from him directly though. I'm kinda bummed, he drifted off the map, he's fun to talk to.

My understanding is that he was in a pretty bad car accident back in May. He is physically ok, a little shaken, but ok. His truck was totaled along with his computer and phone. Last I heard he was in Wyoming waiting for a new truck to be delivered, but no one has heard from him since then. When I heard about it, I called Dean Wiseman and asked him to put out an APB on the west coast list servs to see if anyone has heard from him, but alas no one has responded. I am sure he is ok, but it would be nice if he would at least call the people that are closest to him and let them know where he is and if he is ok. He usually goes to Convention every year, but he is not pre-registered. So if any of you are going to Convention, please look for him and ask around.

I too noticed Evan is no longer in my FB contacts, I'd posted on his page in May but never received a reply. I really hope he is okay!
