You cavers in the crowd, especially those of you familiar with Sharp's Cave near Slatyfork, West Virginia, will be interested to hear that three cavers reported missing Tuesday have been found. Here's a report from Shaver's Fork Fire Rescue, which led the three female cavers to daylight (moonlight, actually; they were found at 1 a.m. Wednesday)

"Three cavers from Maryland were rescued after being lost in Sharp's Cave for more than 12 hours.

"Shavers Fork Fire Rescue was toned out by Pocahontas 911 after receiving a call of three lost female cavers. After a briefing at Station 4, the rescue team with Shavers Fork responded to Sharp's Cave.

Lt. Kelly Bostian of Shavers Fork Fire Rescue was a NCRC Level 2 graduate from the recent National Weeklong training in VA. A real “go getter”.

Super job by all the folks of Shavers Fork!
