OCR in CA

Postby cavedoc » May 28, 2010 12:44 pm

Western Region of the NCRC will be putting on an orientation to cave rescue. Classes will be at Mark Twain Hospital in San Andreas. We will do litter handling and camping at Cave City. There will be a mock rescue somewhere in the mother lode area on Sunday.

Since I was curious, for others sake: July 24-25, 2010.

Hmm. Would be fun if I had the time to pop-out and check out your caves out there. (of course I'd need to buy all new equipment JUST for California ;-)

Hmmm, that's a 15 hour drive for me right now.

Or there's the SW region OCR in NM next month. That one's only a 7 hour drive in the other direction. :driving:

What to do, what to do... :panic:

Obviously drive to SW, cave in the Guadalupe Mountains for a few weeks then hit us on the way back.

That is obviously the best answer. I second the motion.
