Same here in Jackson Hole, they closed Teton Pass for two days because of avalanches which buried the road up too twelve feet in snow. When the wind kicked up the HP was forced to closed the village road here in the Valley because of ground blizzards and multiple accidents. Even the Teton Village Ski Resort closed their lifts for a day. We have dump trucks running around full of snow, dumping it, and clearing some more. All of a sudden in the last couple of days it has become warm here and the streets are a slush pit.
The amount of auto damage is staggering, a friend works at a local body shop and he said they are booked up for two months.
Here is the snow pack summary, look like we received 8 feet of new snow:http://www.jhavalanche.org/summaries.php
